This policy explains what personal information BARKO The Pet Store ("BARKO", "we") collects through barkopetstore.com, our stores, phone and WhatsApp, and how we use it. We keep it simple and only collect what we need to serve you and your pet.

What we collect

• Details you give us — your name, phone number, your pet's details and your message when you use our offer form or contact form, message us on WhatsApp, or call us.
• Order and delivery details — your address and what you ordered, when you ask us to deliver.
• Website usage data — pages visited, device and browser type and approximate location, collected with cookies or similar technology by Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics. If we run Facebook or Instagram ads, the Meta Pixel may measure visits that come from those ads.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiries and send you the offer or quote you asked for.
• To process orders, deliveries and grooming bookings.
• To send occasional updates and offers on WhatsApp — you can opt out at any time by replying STOP or telling us.
• To understand how the website is used, and to improve it and our ads.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business — WhatsApp and Meta (messaging and ad measurement), Google (analytics, and Google Sheets where we keep website enquiries), Cloudflare (website hosting) — with our delivery staff when they need your address, and where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and customer records only as long as we need them for the purposes above, or as long as the law requires (for example, billing and tax records), and then delete them.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, withdraw your consent, or stop marketing messages. Just WhatsApp or call either store. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can also raise a grievance with us using the contact details below, and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can.

Cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work without them.

Children

This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
